A good article about the fact that the recording industry is issuing records mastered to sound louder, killing the dynamic range of the music.

I’m totally amused by the effort that my friend Héctor Dí­az is doing in posting very interesting material that comes out of the top of his head.
The interesting thing is that he’s not only posting musical pieces, but soundscapes!
This mixed with the excellent photography made by his wife, builds an atmosphere that takes me back to my homeland, Venezuela.
His is posting music too, and there is an upcoming page about our very first band.
I really recommend to check his work out.
