I don’t believe it’s possible but it was a fun test to take.
OK, it’s being a lot of time since the last post.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the things that call my attention and I think that finally I have something interesting to write.
I’m going to start writing about the process that implies changing my way of coding and about trying new concepts, languages and frameworks in order to broaden my knowledge and skills, because I’ve reached to a point where that’s a must.
About guitar and music, I’ve been thinking a lot about the boom of so good vintage guitar gear, the digitally audio world and how do they interact.
So, here we go again!
Like two month ago, my camera, a Canon A60 suddenly stopped working.
Taking the other day with a guy about what happened to me, he told me that he ran into a similar problem with a camcorder.
He talk about a thing that I have to admit I didn’t think of, a reset button…
Then a grabbed my camera an started look for that little tiny hole where the reset button are traditionaly located, I didn’t find any.
So I headed to the Canon website to download the manual that should enlighten me, when I found in the troubleshooting FAQ of the site a thing that gave me some hope, this seems to be a failure in the wiring of certain models (that includes mine) that seem to come off under special temperature and humidity circumstances. As this is a manufacturing failure, Canon will repair it not charging for it (except shipping I guess).
I’ll make an update to this post after getting and answer from Canon.
[*UPDATE*] OK, here I have it repaired and working perfectly, and they did not charge for it.
I’m totally amused by the effort that my friend Héctor Díaz is doing in posting very interesting material that comes out of the top of his head.
The interesting thing is that he’s not only posting musical pieces, but soundscapes!
This mixed with the excellent photography made by his wife, builds an atmosphere that takes me back to my homeland, Venezuela.
His is posting music too, and there is an upcoming page about our very first band.
I really recommend to check his work out.
Thanks for doing this Héctor.

I’m working hard in some projects now (nice!), so I have no spare time for blogging, but I’ll be back…
Ok, I think this time I’m serious, I’m going start bloggin’!
